The Role
Are you a storyteller who understands the power of digital media? Can you turn political policy into a message that resonates with every Kosovar?
Volt Kosova is looking for one Communications Co-Lead (Male/Diverse) to complete our leadership duo. Together with your counterpart, you will be the "Voice of Volt." You will not just manage social media; you will define our narrative, build our press relations, and create a platform for young voices.
You will have access to professional-grade tools (Canva Premium, Asana, Google Workspace) and a direct line to the communication teams of Volt Europa. We expect you to use these resources to build a professional, high-quality media presence.
What You will do
You will lead the strategy, the team, and the message.
Build & Lead the Team: You cannot post everything yourself. Your goal is to recruit and manage a team of content creators, copywriters, and designers. You will assign tasks and manage workflows using Asana.
Social Media Management: You will oversee our Instagram and Facebook presence. You have the strategic authority to suggest opening new channels or closing existing ones (subject to Admin approval) if they do not serve our goals.
Curate the Volt Blog (Op-Eds): You will manage our website’s blog section. A key initiative is creating a space for students and members to submit Op-Eds. You will review, edit, and publish these pieces to encourage public debate.
Press & Public Relations: You will act as the point of contact for local Kosovar media and coordinate with the European press team for international coverage.
Integrated Campaigns:
With Community: You will promote meet-ups and turn offline events into online content.
With Fundraising: You will design the visual and written narratives for our fundraising campaigns.
European Collaboration: You will join the pan-European Comms network, sharing best practices and content with other Volt chapters across the continent.
Who We Are Looking For
We need a creative professional who is also a structured manager.
Must-Haves:
Professional Tool Proficiency: We rely on Asana for project management, Canva Premium for design, and Google Workspace for collaboration. You must be comfortable using these tools at a professional level.
Strategic Vision: You don't just post for the sake of posting. You understand analytics, target audiences, and brand consistency.
Language Skills: You are fluent in Albanian and English. Fluency in any other European language (German, French, Italian) is a huge plus for our international PR work.
Team Builder: You are a natural leader who can motivate volunteers and delegate tasks effectively.
Writing & Editing: You have an eye for detail and can edit student Op-Eds to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Bonus Points:
Background in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
Existing network with local media or journalists.
