Open Positions: 2 Co-Leads (1 Female/Diverse & 1 Male/Diverse)

About Volt

Volt stands for a united and federal Europe, where everyone has equal opportunities to fulfil their unique potential. We strive to achieve the highest human, environmental, social, and technological development together. We are a pan-European political movement with 300+ elected representatives across Europe, including 5 members of the European Parliament, over 30,000+ members and hundreds of volunteers who work hard to make our vision a reality.

Volt is an inclusive movement that wants to provide space for everyone to thrive. We believe the power of diversity achieves better results for our society at large. We can only be the inclusive political movement we aspire to be, if we represent different voices and perspectives in our society. Your skin colour, gender identity, disabilities, sexual orientation or religious belief do not matter. You are welcome in our organisation, and we want to work together with you to create a better Europe for everyone.

The Role

Are you a people person with a passion for politics? Do you know how to build culture in a remote team?

Volt Kosova is looking for two experienced, proactive Community Co-Leads to build the heart of our movement. We are building our foundation, and our strength lies in our members. You will be the first point of contact for every new person joining us, the architect of our team culture, and the bridge between digital interest and real-world action.

This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for autonomous individuals who are comfortable with digital tools, can manage their own time, and are ready to lead without needing constant supervision.

What You Will Do

You will take ownership of the member journey:

  • Build & Lead the Team: You will not do everything alone. Your primary goal is to recruit, train, and manage a team of community volunteers to help you with onboarding, events, and member care. You will create the resources and structures they need to succeed.

  • The First Impression: You will manage the entire onboarding pipeline. This includes screening applications, scheduling and conducting the initial 30-minute "Welcome Interviews," and ensuring new members feel inspired and informed.

  • Member Integration: You will guide new members through the "5-Step Onboarding Process," ensuring they get access to Google Workspace, join the correct WhatsApp channels, and find their place in a team (e.g., Policy, Comms, or Tech).

  • Community Building: You will organize physical meet-ups and social events in Kosovo to turn digital connections into real-world friendships.

  • Internal Collaboration: You will work closely with the Communications Team to align messaging and with Administration to manage member data and access rights.

  • Vacancy Management: You will identify gaps in our teams and manage internal vacancies to ensure every volunteer finds a role that fits their skills.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for Co-Leads who can shape this department.

Must-Haves:

  • Autonomy & Maturity: You have professional experience working independently. You see what needs to be done and do it.

  • Digital Proficiency: We run on Google Workspace (Drive, Calendar, Meet, Groups). You must be comfortable working in a fully remote, cloud-based environment.

  • Language Skills: You are fluent in both Albanian and English (written and spoken).

  • Location: You are physically based in Kosovo and able to attend/organize occasional in-person meet-ups.

  • Availability: You can dedicate a reliable 5–10 hours per week (flexible, but including some evenings for calls/meetings).

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience in HR, Recruitment, or Community Management.

  • Experience managing volunteers in non-profit organizations.
